Open pit mining can leave open pits that, when filled with air, will form post-mining lakes or pit lakes. Abandoned pit lakes have a negative impact on the community, so they need to be utilized to provide a positive impact for the community as an implementation of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Therefore, research is needed to determine the potential utilization of pit lakes that are appropriate for the pit lake located in Rumpin District, Bogor Regency, West Java. Based on this research, it can determine the potential utilization of pit lakes for sustainable development of the surrounding community to improve the local economy and maximize the utilization of ex-mining land.
